Value for money is the key here as there are so many formats of the 7 available, for example; The superlight R 400 may have an extra 45bhp which knocks off almost a second during 0-60 (3.8 compared to 4.7), and an extra 10mph in the straights, but also allows a price hike of around £6000! "...airfield track day. The Caterham R300 is also super cheap to run. Insurance is one quarter that of the Evo mentioned above and fuel consumption while not great is miles better than anything in the same preformance catogory. Only thling is motorways. They're murder so I usulay avoid them which means a two hour journey can take half a day (which is great actually). As for driving in winter, well I've drivin it most weekends except when it's snowing ..." Read review
