Have you ever sat there straightening your hair and wandering? ‘What damage is all this heat doing?’ Well if you have ever thought that, you can straighten your hair, without the worry of your colour fading, or your hair turning into straw.
From past experiences with heat protecting mist, I know that many of them just leave your hair either smelling like something that you really don’t appreciate, or they leave your hair heavy, greasy and possibly just make your hair look worse instead of what the package usually promises of ‘sleek and shiny wonderful and perfect hair’. I know that many of them do far from that.
I have tested several different heat defence sprays, and until I came across this one, I thought that I would have no hope in finding one that actually worked as well as made my hair look good.
The good thing about ‘Catwalk Fashionista spritz and shine’ is that it not only smells gorgeous, it makes your hair look gorgeous too.

Fashionista spritz and shine can be used on either wet hair before blow-drying, or on dry hair when straightening the hair. It protects coloured hair which is also a bonus as I find that my coloured hair fades much faster when I straighten it every day, and this can become awfully expensive. It leaves your hair feeling ‘full and luxurious’, and looking ‘mega’ shiny.
Another bonus to this product is the fact that your hair stays straight. I always dread going out on a misty humid day, as my hair always goes terribly frizzy, but after using this spray, I found that my hair stays almost as straight as is was when I had left the house earlier. It has a fantastic hold so you have no need to use hairspray that can sometimes make your hair feel straw like.
The spray is suitable for any hair types and lengths, so no matter what hair you have, you will get the same results every time.

I found that although the product was extremely good value for money, and incredibly effective, if I sprayed too much on my hair, my hair would feel heavy at the end. This is one of the fallbacks of the product. The product does not unfortunately state how much you are to spray on, so if you are new to using the product, some people will have the tendency to use too much as a lot of the other spray’s do not do this when you spray literally ‘tons’ on to your hair. I worked out that one spray (I have mid-length hair however) on each layer when straightening was good enough, and this not only protected my hair, but it did not leave it feeling greasy or heavy. For long hair I would guess using about two sprays.
The Fashionista Spritz and shine spray can be brought from most good salons. You can only buy it from salons though or off the internet, this is also one of the fallbacks of the product, you can’t just pop into the supermarket to buy it.
I find it easy to order many of my Tigi products off the internet. You can get the products off many salon websites on the net. However I don’t think you can buy the actual products from the Tigi website (tigihaircare.com).
Overall the Fashionista Spritz and shine spray I think is the best heat defence spray on sale, and I would defiantly advise someone looking for a heat defence spray to buy this product.
Advantages: smells great, makes a fab finisher and holds hair in place Disadvantages: sticky, cant use a lot of the product without your hair feeling lank
...spray, but decided to try Tigi Fashionista spritz & shine for a change as I constantly get bored (as previous readers of my reviews will already realise!) and HAVE to try more or less every new product on the market much to my husbands disgust!!! Tigi is sold in my local hairdressers and had been recommended to me as a brand several times before so I thought why not, I'd give it a go.

I have mixed feelings about this spray. Firstly I adore the attractive fruity smell, which is enough to sell the product alone. Also the product is great as it is from an uber stylish brand and the bright colored packaging in a funky shape shows this off. However, even though I found this to slightly combat my unruly mane it did not do a great job as I really did not tell that much difference, despite the fact I really noticed the nice smell all ...

Fashionata spritz and shine heat save styler,does exactly what is says..it locks in shine with a firm, flexible hold that resists frizz., and prevents colour fade, and damage from blow drying / heat irons or even sun exposure.
