Advantages: Cheap Prices - but I guess you pay for what you get Disadvantages: Charged for product despite not being dispatched; Hopeless support.
...tempted to hold on a little longer. I won't make this mistake again.
Update: I've now been informed by CDiscount.co.uk that my worse fears have come true and they have gone into administration (as of 6th Nov). However, they are still taking orders as of 9th Nov....so BE CAREFUL!! ...

You could take advantage of the great offers on CDisount's website. However, it's debatable whether you'll receive them. I ordered a laptop and camera from them in October. Apparently both came but the courier decided not to ring the doorbell and then send them straight back to cdiscount after only one attempt. So two weeks later (after cdiscount messed around trying to find the stock again) they tried again. The same thing happened again! One attempt ... ...it happens a lot but that they aren't doing anything about it. It's now five weeks since we ordered and we still haven't received a refund.
Use this company at you peril! However, believe me, it's not worth it.
It's much better to just pay a bit more and get what you want. ...

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I ordered a camara from these people 3 weeks ago and no sign of it yet. Talked to customer services only to be fobbed off. I was told my camera would be delivered the following week and still no sign of it. They have flash sales periodically and although their original discounted prices are not that good it is possible to get a bargain price by using the additional reductions and discount codes. Ordered a TV on 14/10/09 and still waiting (26/10/09). Extremely dissatisfied with the service that I am presently receiveing.
They didnt even tell me that the item i had ordered was out of stock until my 3rd phone call, 8 days after my order - despite that fact that they took my payment immediately. Up until then I was told on the previous 2 calls that the item would be sent within the next two days.

I ordered a product on here and 2 days later they tell me that it's out of stock! But they were so quick in taking my money and saying it's in stock on the product details on the website! I'm still waiting for a refund, lets see whether they actually do it! I have read a lot of other reviews about this web site and most people seem to say that the sevice quality is pretty low and that the refunds takes far too long and in soe cases, it never happens. ...
