Advantages: excellent quality book. you won't put it down until the end. Disadvantages: none
...CeceliaAhern I must say is a very talented writer whose work really gets inside the readers imaginations. PS I love you is CeceliaAherns 1st novel of 4 and was very popular that it was translated into over 40 different languages and there is talk of making it into a movie. Right now to the storyline.
The two main characters of this book are called Holly and Gerry who are childhood sweethearts. Unfortunately Gerry was diagnosed with a brain tumour and subsequently died from it leaving Holly grieving for him in the process. To ease holly's pain and to ease her through the grieving process, Gerry leaves a surprise for Holly for each month of the year after he dies. Each chapter is a new month and a new task for Holly to complete. To find out what each of the tasks are that Gerry has left Holly you will have to read the book.

Advantages: Good if you want a good cry Disadvantages: Could not put it down
...This book had me crying from the start and is great for anyone who loves a soppy book. It is a good easy read, perfect for travelling or evenings after a stressful day at work. Great if you don't want anything really hard going and I found it hard to put down. The little notes made me look at my life and wonder whether I was making the most of it. The characters are good although I found it a little unbelievable at times that two couples who got together so young would still be together at 30, and still know each other. Even so it is one of three great books from one of my favourite authors CeceliaAhern. I loved it!...

Advantages: Very easy to read Disadvantages: Different format of writing
...Another great book from CeceliaAhern - if you liked her first book (P.S. I Love You) and you are a romantic at heart, then you will love this book.
The style of writing in this book is not often found in other novels, the story is told in the form of written correspondence between the subjects. These are letters, memo's, instant messaging, e-mails texts etc. It is quite hard to get on to but it is very well done.
The characters are well described there is plenty of feeling and humour, It follows a boy and a girl from they first meet at school over quite a few years. I could not leave this book down I was crying one minute and laughing the next- i finally finished it at 3am after reading all day!
Definitely not one to be missed. I can't wait for her next book....
