centrifugal fan. This new range is fitted with a backward curved centrifugal impeller for a large airflow against the high pressures caused by longer lengths of ducting and resistance by grilles. Ideally suited for common or flat duct installations.
Advantages: bright colour - lightweight Disadvantages: doenst work !
...I bought this as a basic machine with auto feed - but the line gets clogged, overfeeds, winds itself round the spool and I have to keep unplugging & sorting it out. I have looked at Flymo's site and the problem is that Flymo's auto feed is not what a normal human being would think it is - "…does not mean it feeds automatically at full speed, it works on centrifugal force on start and stopping" . So when I stop and start it feeds more out - that's my problem. On the box it simply said 'autofeed' and there are NO instructions on the head and spool. So to stop it feeding too much I must keep the machine going going at all costs - but that is dangerous !!! - I cannot recommend this - Black and Decker next time....

..."All hands to the pumps" is of course the old nautical term, luckily nowadays we no lonher have to work pumps manually.
Firstly, these are centrifugal pumps, it just means they work by using centrifugal force to spin the water to the outside of the pump casing. It also means they are not self priming, which is fine as long as you have some other way of filling the system with water, otherwise you will not pump anything.
Also, being a centrifugal pump, it will not slip water, meaning if you close the outlet it will build up pressure in the pump casing. In order to stop this, you will usuallyu find a by-pass, so excess pressure can divert, preventing the pump from exploding.Providing this by-pass is serviced, you will have no trouble.
To expalin priming, all that happens is that you need to extract the air from the system...

...This rubbish boiler does nothing but bang and break down it cost money to install but it cost even more to repair it OK here is some advice this boiler was bought by a close friend of mine it was fitted evreything seemed OK the plumber set off after installing this boilerand then after five days or so BANG the lockout light came on it was broken. Plumber fixed it after 2 months it broke this time it was a major problem the heat exchanger needed replacing it was replaced for £212.It broke down 8 times altoghether before it was swaped for a excellent German Vaillant.

The 8 times that it broke down the fan was replaced the gas valve was replaced the flue...
