Juno is a comedy about a 16 year old girl called Juno (played by Ellen Page) who falls pregnant to the nerdy boy next door Paulie Bleeker (played by Michael Cera). Juno is a really different teenager and is a bit of a sarcastic loser and Paulie is a kind of geeky runner loser in school.
To make a long story short Juno cannot bring herself to get rid of her baby by abortion, so instead she decides to adopt her child out to a couple who cannot have a baby themselves. She finds the couple in the newspaper and then the story begins.
This is a really funny film with a story line with a bit of a difference. The Juno character is a really funny and you cant help but fall for her and her friends charasmatic charms teenage and attitude. Its a great heart warming film with an important message about teen pregnancy in it.

Me: Yes, Juno.
Husband: What's it about?
Me: A pregnant teenager.
Husband: Oh. You sure that's what you want to see?
However, it turned out to be our favourite film of 2008. My brother sort of knows Ellen Page (entertainment industry in Toronto can be a small world sometimes) and actually got ...
