My daughter celebrated her 2nd birthday (which I couldn?t believe! How time flies!) at the weekend and among all her lovely presents, she received a ChadValley shopping Trolley from Argos.

I have found with the ChadValley range of toys that they don?t use excessive packaging for their toys, which means that you are not paying extra just for the packaging which is always a good thing.
The trolley comes in an average sized box, big enough to fit the small trolley into and nothing else (though not a tight fit at all). The box is in green colours which I have found runs through many of the ChadValley imaginative play range so easily recognisable and very eye catching which is why Argos is good as the child can not see the items and want ...
ChadValley - Sorting Eggs????
These ChadValley sorting eggs is a toy that Jack has had for nearly a year now and it is only recently that he is really getting the full use out of them. Now he is able to use them how they are meant to be played with I thought I would write a quick review on them.
The sorting eggs are basically half a dozen (six) eggs which come housed in a egg tray type box. Each egg can be taken apart giving a top and bottom part of the egg. The bottom part of the egg is fixed into the egg tray where as the top half of the egg can be taken away. Inside the egg, there is a different colour and a different shape. The shape is made to stick out on the part of the egg that detaches and this can then be fixed into the shape hole in that remains in the tray

bits were actually missing. It was down to my five year old to explain to me how the Hama bead designs actually work and to point out that we weren't actually missing anything after all!
If you are not familiar with hama beads this is how they work. You have to place your plastic pegboard over a design template. You then place the different coloured beads on the pegs and lo and behold you will have created a picture! Once the picture is complete, you place an ironing sheet over it and then press carefully. All the plastic beads will fuse together and you will be able to remove it as a complete shape from the board.
This set is lovely and the finished princesses are exactly as they are in the Disney films. My daughter was delighted when she opened this present although at just five she did find it all a bit fiddly even though five plus ...
