Hello and welcome to this review! I bought this challenge air cooler around 2 years ago from argos. it cost quite a resonable £49.95 with a 2 year gaurantee. There were two options availble, a cooler on its own priced at £39 or the version with a built in heater £49.95 (The one I got) From what I read in the Argos book I was expecting big things from this air cooler - BUT. Once the unit was put together it felt awfully cheap. To air cooler is quite sylish in looks with its touch buttons on the top for control - They all have different colour lights for ease of use. The unit holds 8 litres of water and is supplied with 2 ice packs. You can place these in the freezer cool them and drop them into the tank unit to keep the water at a constant cooler temperature for longer. The remote control is simple off / on speed control ioniser oscillation Batteries ... more

Can anyone tell me where to obtain a manual?

When switched on red light appears but nothing else works. Can hold power button in and press fan button and it does run but I only tried it to see if it worked!
