The Body Shop markets itself as an ethical organisation that supports fair trade and is against animal testing.
PRODUCT RANGE: The Body Shop is one of the most well known British brands of 'natural' beauty products. Think of a part of your body and you can almost guarantee that the Body Shop sells a product to apply to it! Each range tends to be inspired by an ingredient. Continuing with my reviews of The Body Shopproducts, this is another great product - Aloe Soothing Day Cream.
~~First Impressions~~
As this is another member of the Aloe Vera collection, it has the trademark pale green colours on the packaging. The actual container itself is a small green plastic tub with a screw on/off lid. There is also a small plastic cover over the moisturiser when you buy it, however I found this a bit fussy to keep taking off and therefore put this in the bin - after I had taken all the cream off it!
On the plastic tub there is a white label with all the necessary information on and pale green colouring, it also informs you of all the main ingredients.
~~The Product~~
The actual product itself is a moisturiser cream, whilst they recommend you use it twice a day I have found that once in the morning ...
Advantages: Great products, helpful staff, lots of space, nice & tidy. Disadvantages: Some of the products are overpriced.
Some aspects of my review may be based on personal shopping experiences in my local store which is in Harlow, Essex.
Our local store is located on the High Street and is quite noticable and as such I often find myself either drawn in because of a special offer or just the delicious scent that comes out as I walk past.
The store is well laid out and specialises in selling make-up and toiletries that has not been tested on animals. This means that for the most part these products are fairly guilt free if a little pricey. They normally have toiletries around the outside of the store and make up on large podiums in the centre of the store.
I always find the staff in my local branch to be very helpful and always willing to assist me with finding something within my budget or even just finding a nice gift for a friend or relative ...

They have devoured the competition, moved towards the Dixons style, staff not as knowlegable as they were (see review), used equipment and traditional (*)
