Advantages: Cheaper setup than PS3, better pad, best game selection, xbox live is amazing Disadvantages: Paying for xbox live (after 3years of live, a PS3 works out cheaper), can be noisey, Wi-Fi is extr
live @ £40 a year), I could play most of my original xbox titles on it so the old system could go into the bedroom, & the biggest reason of all, NOTHING FOR THE PS3 EXCITED ME! Don't get me wrong, I've since bought a PS3, but there were no games out for it that weren't available on the 360 that interested me! That situation hasn't really changed with the exception of resistance & killzone2.
The looks of the box, well, thats up to you, the brick power supply was a little odd, but it's hidden out of sight, so who cares, reasonably loud noise coming from the system when it is running, but to be honest, when I'm sucked into a game, I'm oblivious to it! Especially when the 5.1 is pumped up (my apologies to all my neighbours :D) Control pad? almost excellent, the D-pad lets it down (Sega managed to get the D-pad right almost 20 years ago, why can ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of Microsoft Xbox 360
Advantages: lots of snooker and pool to play. Disadvantages: commentary gets repetative after a while.
i have found world snooker championship2007 on the xbox360 to be a fantastic snooker simulation game.
the commentary is good and the graphics are excellent and the controls are very straight forward basicly pick up and play.
you can create your own character to use which is a good feature as it gives that sense of playing as yourself.
the best feature of this game is the new positional play where you get a black circle showing you where the cue ball will most likely end up and making it much easier to plan your next shot, i found this makes the game way better than previous versions.
although this has snooker in the title you can also play the pool championship either the 8 ball or 9 ball games are available to play.
there is also a trickshot mode to play and online multiplayer mode too, if you like snooker then you will be ...
Advantages: Great graphics and Gameplay Disadvantages: Not as good as a Wii for family play.
Being a playstation boy I've never bothered with the Xbox, however through boredom and impulse I found myself buying an Xbox360 one day.
To coin a Carlsberg phrase, the 360 is probably the best console around. The graphics are second to none and until sony can get to grip with what they really want out of the PS3 the 360 will remain streets ahead.
It is available from around £180 upwards depending on system and game bundles you purchase with it with again leaves it extremely better priced than the PS3. The controller whilst more bulky than sony controllers fits nicely in the hand and the rechargeable battery pack is a must get addition.
I would say however that although there is a great variety of games available for the Xbox360 it is undoubtedly at its greatest when playing shoot 'em up's, games such as Halo 3 and Gears ...
