The game itself is one of a kind. Easy to follow, but experience in previous championship manager games would help you to understand the intricacies of this version. Championship manager 01/02 is a good game for those of you find no images fun. You start of by selecting a team from which you should manage from a choice of countries from Italy to Scotland. So onece you have selected a country then you select a team of that nation for example if you chose england you could chose from Manchester Utd to the Wolverhampton wanderers. Wow! What can I say this game is great. Just like the ones before it this to is very addictive, being able to manage your favorite footie team and being able to buy the players that you think they should have is really good. Right this is how it works: Take over a team from one of 20 countries, pick the squad, set the training regime, select a tactical system i.e 4-4-2, and watch them play, with the great in detail text. Having played Championship Manager for many years on the PC I was suprised and intrigued by its introduction to a console like the Xbox and I did think it would be hard to pull such a feat off. However having experienced the game on the Xbox I was pleasently suprised, the gameplay is still as interesting and rewarding as the PC version and the graphics just as high quality. The cross over from PC to console does take a bit of getting used to but the positives way out all the negatives.
