This product is a Godsend! Especially for people like me with combination skin that tends to get shiny after a while in the T-zone.
I discovered this product on my wedding day thanks to my make up artist. She put some on my t-zone before applying make up. It was a very hot summer day but thanks to this gel my make up was perfect throughout the day! No shiny bits whatsoever!
So as you can imagine now I cannot live without it.
The product: It comes in a 30 ml tube bottle and believe me, it's plenty. I am still using the one I bought just over a year ago as a small drop is enough to keep my t-zone matte for a long time. You can visit any Chanel counter and buy it for £22. Advice: if you are buying any other product (or having a make up trial) you can ask for a sample as it is quite pricey so you want to make sure it is what your skin needs. After all what works for me might not work for someone else.
Texture: It is a translucent fresh alcohol-rich gel that evaporates immediately upon application leaving the skin matte and smooth without clogging your pores. It smells ok, nothing amazing, maybe because it contains purifying ingredients. You will read on their website: "Its formula contains a marine bio extract to help balance the cutaneous flora."
How to use? Gently pat a small amount of gel over T-zone area before applying make up. You can use it over makeup too if you want although, personally, I prefer using blotting papers especially if I am wearing foundation.
Conclusions: It is a wonderful product, no doubts, although a bit pricey, that's why I am not giving it 5 stars.
I have found out that you can buy it from www.cheapsmells.com for only £13.25 plus £0.95 delivery. So all of a sudden the price is more affordable and reasonable.
