Advantages: brilliant full coverage, easy to blend and apply
Disadvantages: hard to get off not suitable for drier skins expensive

Having found the vitulumiere too oily for my skin type (oily/combination) I switched to matte lumiere also by chanel. Chanel a fashion house famous the world over for its clothes, the signature no. 5 scents and of course those gorgoues handbags..also made a big name for itself in the world of make up and I have yet to fault any of their products, however you do in this case pay for what you get and then some.. the bottle is in a retangle shaped opaque glass with black plastic pump dispenser and black lid with the chanel logo in white on top. The foundation also contains titanium dioxide spf 15 so saves u having to use a seperate sunblock and as I prefer moisturisers without spf this is handy. Unlike other matte foundation is does not give a flat or dull appearnce but an light dewy look.. to say it was completely natural would be a lie ...

Chanel Tient Innocence, a fabulous find!

Advantages: Wonderful coverage and finish, many choices to match most skin colors.
Disadvantages: Price point

Recently, I rushed to the Chanel counter to purchase foundation, only to discover they were out of my shade in the Tient Fluide Universal. I panicked, as I was addicted to this product for years. The salesperson immediately recommended that I try the Tient Innocence as a substitute. I was apprehensive about changing to another foundation but allowed her to remove my base and apply the Tient Innocence in my usual color. I fretted that she was just attempting to make a sale. To my complete surprise, the finish was flawless, any red spots, unevenness, or discolorations were covered without a mask like feel. My skin felt soft and clean. I was absolutely sold! I have purchased three bottles so far and plan on continuing to use this fabulous foundation. Ladies, while it seems a bit pricey, I highly recommend investing in this product. ...

I found that it can vary from place to place and in Debenhams the initial price (with the foundation and casing) is £35, then once you have run out of that it is handy to be able to refil your makeup. This costs £20, not too expensivefor an amazing foundation when some high street brands are retailing at £10-£15. However when you buy the refil for £20 you find yourself thinking what!? I paid £15+ for the plastic black outer-casing just because it has the Chanel logo on it.
