Friends is a US sitcom which took place in New York from 1994 - 2004. The show was based on Six friends and their life’s. The show was on for Ten years and never lost its touch. I have always been a fan of friends from as far back as I can remember, I would have only have been three when the first ever episode came out, so I can't say I watched it from the start, but I came into the show around the 5th season, which ironically is my favourite. It's a simple concept, 6 friends and their lives, with is situated around a coffee house, simple but it works, the writing and the jokes are incredible, but the best thing about the show are the actors, I think they made it what it is today. Everyone knows what Friends is, and if you haven't heard of it - where have you been for the past decade?! If I had to sum it up in one sentence it would be: it's a light-hearted American sitcom following the daily lives of a group of six twenty/thirtysomething friends living in New York. It is hugely successful - the cast's pay hits the £800,000 mark per episode, and advertising in the ad breaks runs into hundreds of thousands in the US. I don't know anyone who dislikes the show! The rules of this drinking game are simple; invite all your friends over, add to that enough alcohol to make Big Brother blush and tune in to channel 4 on Friday night. Then each person writes down an event expected to occur many times in one episode of Friends on a scrap of paper (Joey says something stupid or Monica behaves in her usual obsessive-compulsive manner) and puts it in a bag.
