Location Location Location is hosted by Kirstie Allsopp & Phil Spencer and is shown on miscellaneous days at miscellaneous times on More 4 and Channel 4.
The show meets couples, relatives or friends who want to buy a property. Phil & Kirstie will get together with them and discuss their requirements such as how many bedrooms are required & which area they would like to live in or near. They will also find out the budget they have and sometimes Phil & Kirstie will work together to find properties and other times they will go head to head and both try and find the dream property that will be picked at the end by the participants.
There are quite often people with difficult demands or unrealistic requirements such as 10 acres of land in a town location and this regularly drives Kirstie mad. Kirstie is very vocal to these people and about them and not a show goes by without her having a little pop off about people and their demands and when she was pregnant and filming she seemed to be even more stroppy than usual!
Phil & Kirstie are quite contrasting personalities and this brings something great to the show as one of them is normally being level-headed and trying to keep the other one calm or make the participants of the show see things in the house that they wouldn't normally.
I really enjoy watching the show and I think a lot of people find this a good watch because it's great to be able to dream about the kind of property you'd like or just generally be nosy in somebodies house. Also, watching the older repeats is great as it goes to show just how different the property market is now than in say, 2003. I also enjoy the catch up at the end of the show where you will find out if any of the houses featured were purchased or just find out what the participants or up to know.
This is very interesting viewing and I would highly recommend it. I am rating the show 4/5 and it's lost a star in my opinion before Kirstie's moaning can get a little too much at times.
