Trigger Happy TV is without a doubt one of the best alternative comedy programmes that has been invented in the recent past. Dom Jolly, the presenter, has a very very good way of leading poor general members of the public down the garden path, and filming them while he generally makes a fool out of them. He draws no bounds - getting almost slapstick-style laughs from foreigners, especially Americans, visiting various tourist attractions in London. His gags are simple, but effective, and he has many fans, especially for his mobile-telephone user character.
