Blast off!

Advantages: Tongue in cheek, stylish, ironic
Disadvantages: it is a cartoon.

I have only ever seen this cartoon once because it is on at 8:30am on Saturday, but I fell in love! I Miss You Muppet Babies

Advantages: Great, amusing, entertaining, funny, wonderful, need I go on?
Disadvantages: I miss them.

Deadpan but not deadbeat

Advantages: Funny and intelligent cartoon, well-rounded characters
Disadvantages: maybe not as grandly projected as the Simpsons

...and most intelligent programme on Channel 5. Although never given the prominence it has deserved, Daria's deadpan putdowns and witty asides have managed to gain a well-earned niche. What is even funnier is that the rest of the characters (apart from Suzi) fail to see the irony of their situation.... ...

Advantages: Very realistic scenarios...
Disadvantages: Annoying voices.
