What an amazing show! Advantages: you get to watch sexy females run around killing demons!!! :p Disadvantages: adverts!!! ...season was being shown on channel 5 on October 7th 1998..., it just so happens that i missed the first few episodes so started watching "charmed" on the 6th episode "the wedding from hell", i was advised by a friend to watch it and it seem rather good so i kept watching and i loved it, the reason i loved it was because the characters were so beleivable, so anybody could relate to them! most of the story lines are so gripping and they episodes and ... ...a show that you can just come half way throught the series or a show that you can watch al the way through the series because, because you will catch on quick!!!, i would also like to adivse anybody who likes the show, to buy the dvd which are out, season 1 and season 2 becuase they are very good and give an episode guide, and many other things, the 7th season will air on english t.v around august september time hopefully!!!:) your Schnappi p.s ... NCIS - In it's prime Advantages: Brilliant cast and crew, episodic and series long plots/arcs Disadvantages: Only 24 episodes in a season ...but what I like about NCIS is the same thing I like about 'Bones'. The show is as much character driven as it is plot-driven. It's not like the CSIs where the viewer spends 90% of the episode watching the evidence get processed and analysed and 10% looking at the personal lives of the characters. In NCIS it's 50% character and 50% plot, and it all happens at the same time and flows without looking forced. NCIS can be both funny and intensely sad ... ...the end of each season. NCIS has this, it's one of the most multi-faceted shows out there at the moment, and it shows in every episode. I can find only one problem with this show, and that is that there are only 24 episodes in a season and you have to wait for ages for the new season to come out. This is one of my two favourite shows of all time, and the other one, Stargate SG-1 ended over a year ago. It's Back! A second helping of ham, anyone? Advantages: Addictive, ridiculous, hilarious plots Disadvantages: It's only five days a week ...returned to our screens on Channel 5, Monday 6th September 2004. They are repeating the entire 3 year run, now at 10am on weekdays. It’s been going for four months now and I thought it best to update my review to help pave the way for any fans to be. If you haven’t seen it before it’s never too late to catch up on events. Especially not with a substantial number of flashbacks per episode. Sunset Beach is another of those gaudy, in your face, lifestyles ... ...Lives (both briefly aired by channel 5 in the past). Neighbours on five Advantages: very good acting, good storylines, good characters, several showings a day Disadvantages: repetive storylines ...and Iceland.Tony Hatch wrote the Neighbours theme song, but there have been 6 different renditions of the theme opening the show on television since the show first began in 1985. From 1986 to 1988 Kylie Minogue featured in Neighbours as a character named Charlene Robinson who was a young mechanic. Most gripping tv show that I have ever watched. Advantages: Exciting, gripping, dynamic characters, thick plot, good twists. Disadvantages: very long episodes (may be good for some) This tv show is honestly one of the best tv shows I have ever watched. I find it extremely gripping, and has tons of twists and turns. I have been watching the series on dvd several episodes at a time, and the plot fits together seamlessly. I don't believe it is one of those shows or movies that is hard to grasp or follow. The plot does not fade, and the characters grow more and more dynamic as the plot progresses.
