Chappie is a cheap and cheerful way to feed you dog and is recommended for terriors and what I call Heinz 57 dogs. My vets have all said that it is the best thing to feed my Jack Russell, I just can't stand the smell. It comes in 2 flavours, and they both smell of fish which is one of the main ingredients. You certainly would not want to feed your dog whilst you were eating.
The range could do with more flavours as I would not like to spend the rest of my life eating the same thing on alternate days. The nutritional value is good but would need extra input for more pure bred dogs.

You are right Chappie is cheap and cheerful, the reason it is so cheap though is that they spend very little on the design of the labels on the cans and because there are not too many flavours! If they were to start making loads of flavours and have really fancy labels then the prices would shoot up dramatically. My partner is a veterinary nurse and constantly praises Chappie, the reason being is that when she was trained her class actually studied animal foods and which ones are the most complete and it was Chappie and Euchinuba that came out tops.
