Once upon a time just a week ago I was clearing last years unwanted Christmas gifts you know the usual stuff that we say we love but are friends and family never see again because we threw them in the skip like that pair of ankle socks the slippers and somehow they mixed up your knickers with grannies imagine that.
I felt that since my mum got me this I best use it so I could say I liked it. This is an interactive DVD with challenges and its like carol is talking one on to you this is good you fell more in touch with what she is talking about.
Well anyhow I found this little gem the Holy Grail its Carol Vorderman's sudoku DVD game after taking a knife to the cellophane wrapping and peeling it off. Then opening it to find more of the cursed plastic stopping me from getting at the DVD after I got past that obstacle got some plasters ...

I'm still amazed that I love Sudoku. Numbers have never been my thing, rather word games like scrabble or puzzles like codeword and codecracker. Curiousity, I suppose, got me started on Sudoku. Seeing the Sudoku grid on the back page of the Times newspaper I idly set about trying to fill in the squares with little success and quickly realised that what I needed was someone to show me how to tackle the problem. Enter Carol Vorderman as guide and enthusiast.
She shot to fame as the mathematician on the TV programme Countdown and was introduced to Sudoku by her daughter Katie. She quickly realised that although there were many Sudoku books on the market none actually gave you step by step help so she decided to produce a book doing just that.

Advantages: Fast paced Disadvantages: last 50 or so pages
'The Lost Symbol is the latest offering from Dan Brown featuring Harvard Symbologist Robert Langdon and like all avid readers of his work I was looking forward to reading the book.
