Advantages: Power Rangers theme Disadvantages: Limited play value
Like most young boys, my oldest son has a particular programme or character that he is infatuated with for a while, before moving on to something else. Last year, the obsession was largely 'Power Rangers' which has actually been a pretty long-running TV series, with different varieties of Power Ranger produced over the years - each complete with their own range of over-hyped and over-priced merchandise for parents to shell out for. The Mystic Force series was all the rage at the time of buying this toy, but I'm fairly sure that there has been a newer series released since then (if not two) which might explain why some of the merchandise from this series has been reduced in price slightly. Thankfully, my son has now moved on from Power Rangers which is a relief for me as I did find it a bit too violent, albeit in an exaggerated 'comic ...
Advantages: Does the job its supposed to do. Disadvantages: Cheap looking, not well designed
My daughter received this tattoo centre for her birthday recently. Of course it's not a real tattoo centre, the centre blows air over a felt tip nib and in doing so blows ink onto the skin.
The tattoo centre is compact and all the items are stored in a cube which measures about 10cmx3. Inside the cube you can store the 50 tattoo template stickers which come with the product, and the 5 felt tip pens (red, 2 shades of blue, green and pink). The template stickers include a range of High School Musical based pictures and the names of HSM characters, and there are also generic pictures such as hearts and stars in the pack. The tattoo centre takes 4 'C' sized batteries, which are not supplied.
In the centre is the mechanism that blows the air, and the front of this has a flap that opens out,but doesn't seem to have a purpose as far as I can ...

learn to wiggle the figures around to get them to fit ? which all figures from the Peppa Pig range come with movable arms and legs so children have to be careful not to push too hard otherwise they may break the figures, though this my daughter soon mastered so not a big problem.
The train overall is very sturdy with the one part mentioned above that could cause problems though really that?s it. The train also moves absolutely fine when pushed over most surfaces from floor to long strand carpets which is great. The covering paintwork is also quite durable and has no scuffs as of yet, though my daughter has only had this train for a couple of weeks ? the main problem is cleaning it with the small areas in the compartments and under Grandpa Pig though really that?s a small negative.
