Character Options Peppa Pig Camper Van

I bought the peppa pig camper van for my three year old son at christmas. He had been going on about it for months and by the time I got round to buying it they were out of stock in a lot of the shops so I started to panic as this was obviously one of the 'must have' toys this year. Luckily I got one in woolworths for £19.99!

On christmas morning he was over the moon when he opened it so that was worth the £19.99 for a start. When it came to opening it, it was not easy! As with many toys theres loads of cardboard, sellotape and plastic ties, it probably took about half an hour to get out of the packaging!

The set comprises of the camper van (the top comes off) with fully functional awning. This is operated with a dial at the side of the roof. The other bits are the figures: peppa, george, mummy pig and daddy pig, a little fold out table, barbeque, fridge and lamp. The seats inside the van are removable for use as benches.

The parts all fit into the van adequately, the playset is good for imaginative play and although often found in the girls toys section, in my experience peppa pig is just as popular with boys.

The only bad points with this toy are only things that I would experience with any playset! A three year old child does not understand about keeping all the parts together so sooner or later something will be lost! The other thing is that the top comes off very easily so as kids pick it up roof first, the bottom half hits the floor! I can see why it is designed this way, so that the child can get into it easily and my sons has been dropped several times and never broke yet.

In conclusion this playset was worth the money and of good quality. It has provided hours of fun for my son and his friends and i'm sure he will get many more months out of it!
