Over the last few months, my appearance has been well, shall we say questionnable. The new experience of motherhood has knocked me for six and having time to do things such as my hair just hasnt happened.
Pre baby, I would regularly enjoy different products and my quest for the bottle which would transform my hair was on going.
i have just started swimming again and this gives me an hour or so to myself, whilst my boy is being cooed at by his grandparents so i decided to visit boots and get some nice shampoo and conditioner to enjoy at the gym.
So perusing the huge choice I spotted the revamped range of Charles Worthingtons Dream Hair. Having used this in the past, I knew that the products were fairly good, but hadnt really had any spectacular results. The old packaging was in sqat bottles, which looked good but werent really that practical and this new range looks good too.
I'm not usually one for describing the packaging, but in this instance i feel it has enhanced
my experience. So, the range is in longish plastic bottles, with a pump on the top which is lockable... perfect for the gym then... The shampoo and conditioners come in 275 ml bottles and are to my recolition all lilac and purple. there is gold japanese style flower design on the front. In essense it looks fairly posh... well as posh as a plastic bottle can look. The pump on the top is particularly good though.
Out of this little lot I purchased the Lustrous Locks Shampoo and Conditioner and also the Radiant Shine Glossing Conditioner. (There was a 3 for 2 offer on)

The first to be tried was the Lusterous Locks stuff.. smelt lovely and did give me nice smooth hair, but i wasn't amazed... having left these two in my gym bag in the car i tried out the radiant shine glossing conditioner at home... the results....
my goodness.... i am amazed, this stuff smells lovely, feels luxurious and left my hair shiny. Having blonde hair, this hasn't ever happened before, shiny just doesnt ever seem to happen.
My hair felt, after minimum drying and an occasional show of a hair brush, like it had been styled at a hairdressers and straightened. This is by far the best hair product I have ever ever ever tried. And this was without using with the equivalent shampoo. brilliant brilliant. it is also really light, leaving my hair feeling bouncy as well as shiny.. this really is a first! I have found with previous glossing products that after a while your hair can feel greasy due to the intence conditioners that are used, but this was not the case here. The next day my hair still felt and looked good.
At #5.49 a bottle though, perhaps an indulgence rather than everyday use... after all most days are spent coaxing out baby sick and mushed up food from my hair.
i honestly am totally amazed by this product... seriously good.
i will be getting the radiant shine glossing shampoo and seeing what a difference that makes, so watch out for the next review...
