**The picture above is not the bottle that I used!!**
I bought this product a while ago, and I had never used it until last night.
I got in from work and had a nice long soak in the bath. I decided to spend a little bit time by myself before I went out. I washed my hair too, and decided that needed a little pick me up!
I got out of the bath and started the process of trying to make my hair decent. I have shortish (bob style) blonde hair. Unfortunately I'm not a natural blonde, so bleaching my hair makes it quite dry and it can also be frizzy at times.
I appreciate any product on the market that can make my hair look nice. I like it to look glossy and healthy. I have paid a lot of money for useless products in the past, so now I try to go for the cheaper ones instead.
I was in Boots and I saw the new range of Charles Worthington mini Takeaways. They are smaller sized bottles of existing products. Each smaller product contains the same as the larger only on a smaller scale.
The bottle is 12cms tall and it cream in colour. It has dark blue text on the front and the Charles Worthington logo is at the top of the bottle. The bottle is made from flexible plastic. The top (where the product comes out) has a pump action top. The bottle contains 15 to 25 applications of the product.
The ingredients are listed on the back of the bottle, and it also has what it is supposed to do, on the back of the bottle.
I paid £1.50 for this bottle of Leave-in Conditioner. I thought this was very reasonable. I noticed, when I bought this, that most of the products in the range were priced between £1.50 and £2.00. The larger bottles of the same stuff were situated on the next shelf, so it made it easier to find.
The product smells a lot like the type of conditioner that you get in hair dying kits. It smells strong and clean, but nor unpleasant.
I partially dried my hair with the hair dryer last night and applied a small blob of conditioner to my hands. I rubbed the conditioner into my hands and ran my hands through my hair. I put it mainly on the ends of my hair, as this is my problem area.
It says on the back of the bottle:
**Use this highly concentrated conditioner sparingly. Apply a small amount of the product to towel dry hair using fingertips, then comb through. DON'T RINSE OUT**
My hair felt soft and smooth after I had done this. My hands felt quite sticky and greasy after I applied the conditioner to my hair, and I had to wipe them on a towel.
I recommend to use a very small amount then there isn't a risk of making your hair greasy.
I carried on drying my hair, and the end results were lovely. My hair looked shiny and soft, and it felt really smooth and silky. I was pleased with the results I got from this product, and I would definitely buy the larger bottle.
I would recommend this product for people with dry, damaged or colour treated hair.
This product will be available from most shops like Boots and Superdrug
