Advantages: Leaves hair in a really nice condition..... Disadvantages: You've got to like the smell of a swimming pool to like this!

The promise(s) I love having soft shiny hair. However, not enough to spend a fortune on products that don't always work. That's why I love the minature ranges found all over Boots- I find they're the right size to try once or twice before you devote yourself to a whacking great big bottle. That was how I first tried this range.
The results range consists of several different products- conditioners, shampoo, wax etc. They all have one thing in common- a BIG promise- to make your hair looks its best ever. And that's not all- this shampoo will "volumise hair...add shine..prevent static...improve hair and scalp health...protect hair from heat styling...restore pH balance....prevent chlorine damage and finally moisurise". Not bad for under a fiver!
The use First things first I tried to squeeze it our of it's yellow container but as I'd crawled to the shower from my bed, my hands weren't working very well and it took quite I lot of effort. I was looking sadly at my pathetically weak arms when I realised that this wasn't your ordinary watery shampoo but a super thich one. This means you hardly need any at all to work up I really nice thick lather. It takes quite a long time to rinse out as the bubbles mutliply rapidly, but I'd be complaining if there wasn't enough of them!
Ah, but does it actually work? Out of the 8 promises only 2 didn't work on my hair- my hair was still all static-y and fly away when I dried it. Although it was left super clean, it did feel a big thin, as if the shampoo had taken away all the goodness as well as the grease and dirt. However that shine factor definately made up for this! My hair was light, easy to brush and soft. I was very pleased.
One thing I didn't really like was the smell. It smells like chlorine. So, I looked on the ingrdients and sure enough (amongst all the other nasty chemicals) there it was- chloride. I also noticed that Charles Worthington don't test their products on animals which is always a good sign.

I'd also reccomend the Superconditioner from this range. The two both work really well on my hair and when the bottle run out I'll definately be buying more.

...I first started to use Charles Worthington, I will admit it may have been to do with the good reputation and stylish package but it is so much more than that now. The shampoo has a good fragrance and produces a good lather, whether in a rush with quick rub or after a good head massage. Particularly impressed with the shampoo I moved on to the other products which are all off an equal standard and I always believe it is best to use the collection. ...

I love Charles Worthington products, and seem to have everything in his range of hair products. I'll be honest and tell you that i origionally bought this shampoo because it was on offer (three for two in Boots on a regular basis), looked nice, and smelt gorgeous. But since then i have realised that it is wonderful.
It suits all hairstyles, i know, i've got all my friends addicted, and makes your hair feel like silk. Literally. The smell lasts all ... ...be warned, once you've tried Charles Worthington products, people will want your hair, and you'll want everything else in his range! Now they all come in treat sized Take Aways, so you can sample them before you buy the bigger bottle. Perfect.
Plus Charles Worthington's Get Funky range is brilliant for styling your hair once you've washed it. ...

...those of you that use Charles Worthington products will know that it is more than worth it. It cost me £2.99 from Boots (they stock the whole range of products)and of course, you get your advantage card points as well!. It is a nice yellow colour, and the packaging is unusal, kind of like an eye if you look at it from above. The bottle is 250ml which seems to be the standard size in the results range and lasts a good 3 weeks. It rinses out very easily ... ...good lather.It is a very light shampoo, it doesn't weigh your hair down, nor does it leave a buildup after a while. Nor does it seem to strip your hair of the natural oils.There isn't really a lot more I can say except go and try it for yourself and then you'll see what I mean! ...
