This product has been a bit of a godsend for me. If you have curly hair, you need to try this out! It's simply fab.
Having recently revamped the packaging, this now comes in a peach coloured tube, that stands on its cap. It costs £1.65 for 50 ml. Inside, the cream coloured hair healer is pleasantly scented. There's no need to wash out.
After shampooing, apply sparingly to wet hair. It's described as an instant moisturizing treatment for your hair and is suitable for dry, permed or colour treated hair.
The best way to apply is to squeeze out a small amount. I have shoulder length hair so I probably use more than is needed, around two 10p's worth! I then rub it between my hands and apply it to the ends of my hair. I don't apply it to the roots as it can leave them feeling sticky and the hair 'clumps' together. If you apply too much of this product your hair will also take ages to dry so it's quite important to get the balance right. I don't comb the product through but obviously if you have straight hair, this isn't a problem. I never comb my hair!
I've been using this product for ages - I've also recommended it to loads of friends! It leaves hair bouncy, curly, and best of all, frizz free. At last a product that actually works, plus it promises to leave your hair 'shiny, refreshed and protected'. Since using this I've never used a different conditioner, they just make my hair silky and I lose the curl as it's too smooth to do anything with!
It's hard to say how many applications you'll get from a tube - maybe around 10 depending on how much you use each time and the length of your hair. This *always* comes on holiday with me and I must say I'm more impressed with the new packaging as the old pump action jobbie got to be a bit of a pest when it was half way down and nothing was coming out!
To sum up - give it a try. For the price, it's well worth it. Even my hairdresser's daughter uses it now!
Just to note, this does come in a larger size which is around £4.99. All Charles Worthington takeaways are available in Boots, which is where I purchased mine. They're quite often on a 3 for the price of 2 deal, so try and pick them up and grab yourself a bargain!
