Results take awayshair healer intensive leave-in conditioner all hair types. - Well, the name of this product might be a bit of a handful to remember, but it is worth remembering it because I found that using it means that my hair isn’t a handful at all.
I ‘discovered’ this product purely because my mother didn’t like it. She bought it to try and combat her dry frizzy hair, and didn’t find it helpful at all, so she passed the bottle to me with contents hardly touched – Yay, lucky me!
I hate to disagree with my mum, but I think this stuff is pretty darn good. Ok I don’t have particularly frizzy hair, my hair is fairly straight, shoulder length (I recently had most of it cut off again because it was driving me skatty!). It’s very fine, and normally quite fly away but it’s still normally quite hard to do anything much with it.
I have to admit that the first time I tried this, I think I probably used far too much, it tells you on the bottle that the 50ml contents will do 15 – 25 applications, but I think on my hair it would do at least 25-30, if not more. The bottle is a pump action, and only squirts a tiny amount into your hand at a time, so being me, I pumped it several times till the amount in my palm looked reasonable (Wrong!!! I should have stopped after a couple of pumps I think! – well it was my first time using a leave in conditioner of any sort let alone an intensive one!). Anyhow, what I had in my hand was a pale creamy coloured quite thick conditioner which smelt vaguely flowery and quite pleasant. Rub hands together, and then run fingers and palms through towel dried hair…yep easy done it! Ok, my hair feels quite slippery and smooth, and not greasy which is good. Hair dryer time!
The results are good! My hair feels softer and smoother than normal, and it’s lovely and shiny when I’ve brushed it. The ends seem more willing to curl under as I want them to as well which is good. Definitely scores 10 out of 10. I have to say that on the first application, my hair did become greasier more quickly, but as I say I think this is because I over did it somewhat. The second time I used it, I didn’t have this problem at all. I’ve been using this treatment about once every couple of weeks now for almost 3 months, and that seems to be plenty for my hair. I think because it’s an intensive treatment, it’s not necessary to use it more frequently, but I’d certainly apply it if I was going somewhere special, just for that extra shine and softness.
The bottle is clear plastic, so you can see the creamy vanilla coloured conditioner inside, so you’re always going to know how much you’ve got left. The name of the product, and the Charles Worthington name and logo are on the front, with the instructions and ingredients listed on the back - I’m not listing them all, its enough I think to say that like most conditioners, it contains lots of chemicals. As I said earlier it’s pump action, and being only a 50ml bottle would be ideal to take away on holiday with you (It would probably be very good at helping to combat the effects of sun and sea too I would think!). I believe the cost was around about £1.80ish, but as I didn’t buy it, I am not totally certain, and like most things this price is bound to be different according to where you buy the product. I don’t think this price is too bad, even though this is such a small bottle, because as I say, each application needs to be tiny. This bottle is going to last me a long time!
Good op, but I'm afriad I agree with your mum - I didn't find it helped with my course, frizzy hair! Still, horses for courses, as they say! ;o) Patience13
