And my 53rd review is on...ciao!

Advantages: see review
Disadvantages: see review

...is! My review about my ciao.co.uk experience. Background I joined Ciao! as i was always reading reviews on the website about various products and decided I could write some reviews myself. I didn't join because I thought it would be a money earner but I must admit that the bit of money I do get from spending some time reviewing products is very rewarding! When I first joined I found it a bit confusing. I couldn't understand, and to be honest ...
...to work my way through some categories of items, I found it hard to know which category certain items would fall under and I also found writing reviews more challenging than I thought. The aim of Ciao The main purpose of Ciao is to have a website where reviews are written on all different items on the market (and also general advice such as recipes and parenting tips) which are of a high quality so as to advise potential buyers. The reviews ...

Habbo Hotel 5 star Hotel fun

Advantages: addictive, free, fun, endless possibillities, lots of rooms
Disadvantages: can get boring, some people ruin your fun, can be laggy, repitive

Welcome to the habbo hotel, the habbo hotel is a online chat room that was first launched in 2000 in Finland. Then 2001 in the UK and then following 2004 in USA. The chat room is aimed at teenagers around the world. The current population for habbo is 118 million users however this is the latest figure taken from June 2008 and their is on average 8 million unique visitors monthly and 75,000 avatars being created everyday. The first time I starting ...
...2005 I found the website to be very user friendly and good fun. In a nutshell habbo hotel is a chat room however instead of a boring text based chatroom where you type and can chat to other users in a very boring text only format. In the habbo hotel when you first start you make an avatar and you can walk around the hotel visiting different hotel rooms while chatting to other users. Upon first logging in you get to create your avatar you get to choose ...

The best thing since sliced bread!

Advantages: Brilliant way of communicating
Disadvantages: Very addictive

Msn is an instant message service, similar to the 'chat' feature on Facebook however msn is where they got the idea for it from. You can have conversations with multiple people at once, you just need to click on which contact you want to talk to & your conversation with that particular person will come up on the screen. Of course you know when someone has replied to your last message as the certain conversation box will flash orange & make a sound. ...
...live without msn. I don't know anyone who doesn't have it. I've been using it for years now & it has become almost like a way of life. The great thing about it is that it's free, better than using the phone. You can have conversations using webcams which eliminates the need for a phone altogether. It's great to be able to see who you're talking to, it's like video calling on mobiles but a lot better quality & the fact that msn is free to use! I've ...

Yahooligans everywhere

Advantages: Lots of info in one place, good email storage
Disadvantages: Receive lots of spam, website is aimed more at US users.

...the UK signing up with Yahoo.com maybe wasn't the smartest idea I ever had, however it was 12 years ago when I signed up, I was young and naive. I mainly used Yahoo.com for the email account that you get, it's a free account that gives you a lot of storage. It's a webmail service which means that your mailbox is online and as such requires no space on your hard-drive, but you have to be online to access your emails. Setting up the account is easy ...
...offers' aka spam. Yahoo.com as a whole has a whole load of other features, similar to any other major email/broadband provider. Such as chat sites, dating, music streaming, movie news, finance, messenger, games etc. I used the chat sites a long time ago, and back then they were fun, but now they are a lot more moderated and swearing seems to be a big no no, even in the adult rooms. I also used to use the Fantasy Football (UK Football) it was good ...

What I think of faceparty: ok for a laugh but can be a bit dodgy

Advantages: can be fun, fast loading
Disadvantages: can be dodgy

I first signed up for this site just over 4 years ago when I just left college and was unemployed as I was bored and had alot of time on my hands. Since then I go through phases were I log on a lot and some when I hardly use it at all. The site is easy to use and loads pretty fast. Faceparty is a fun site to meet new people to chat to but I have come across a few perverts, more so than any other social networking site I've used (however I just ignore ...
...your easily get offended or upset or for under 18s (the age you can use faceparty from is 16). The search is good and it's easy to find people within your area and the chat option has been updated and now loads pretty fast. There is also a part on the site where you can have discussions with other members. Also I've found that a lot of users tend not to read your profile before messaging you. Many times I have been asked if I was single, where I ...
