I am currently in my third year at CGCHE studing for a BSc in Sports Science & Leisure Management. Over the last couple of years I have seen numerous improvements taking place. It will be a little bit late for me but the improvements may well benefit you if you decide to become a student here.Coming to CGCHE wasn't my first choice but because of my A-Level grades I ended up at my second choice (Cheltenham). I think that this was probably a better choice now that I am able to reflect on everything.
CGCHE is split into several sites. Each of which has been under development to improve the facilities for students. Many of the developments has been taking place because CGCHE is to become a full university in 2001 (it will be known as the University of Gloucester).Until all the developments have actually taken place the college is a little bit of a nightmare - builders everywhere, etc. However, I believe that when finished it will be well worth studdying here.
If you decide to study here make sure you visit the accommadation office asap because Halls of Residence is very limited and the selection of good property soon gets taken.Nightlife is also very limited here. Only several clubs but many pubs to choose from. However, don't expect the best nightlife here unless you are a boy racer and enjoy shooting around the one way system in your Nova!!
Getting a job after you have graduated is quite good at CGCHE. For Sports Science CGCHE has the 5th best success rate in the UK and the other disciplines are also fairly successful.
