Great character building
A little slow paced for my taste (*)

A very entertaining read
Science fiction that will not appeal to a wide readership (*)
Entertaining, readable
A couple of weaker links, some stories not "meaty" (*)
There are so many mysteries that readers will want to find out right away.
Tandy's love story is vague and the ending is not so satisfying. (*)
Great little novel, exciting, sensitive depictions of mental illness
The Alphane Moon is a lot more interesting than the future Earth. (*)

Original, inventive, page turner, thought provoker.
Could be a tiny bit longer, but then maybe leaving you at the top of the ride is for the best.... (*)
Honours one of the all time great PC games
Buy the game - it's cheaper - and more exciting (*)
A further entry in the Adventures of Lt Leary
Not for those who do not like military adventure stories (*)
Well writing, engaging plot and thoroughly enjoyable piece of sci-fi
