Isa Isa Isa. You only have to open a newspaper and there they are, almost on every page. Maxis and minis ( skirts and cars - nothing so obvious). So what do you plump for? Frankly I am fearful for those maxi jobs because todays winner will probably be tomorrows loser. In any event if share prices go down generally, which one day they surely will, what chance have you got. Anyway I do not like these managers who try to get their hands on my money ...

Well, If you have a maturing Tessa and want to put the principal balance into a Tessa ISA they do have give you a guarantee to pay interest at not less than 3/4 below their standard mortgage rate. not fantastic perhaps but at least an honest rate which seems to be more than can be said for some of the competition if you believe the media hype.  ... more
