Quick review of Cheshire Building Society

"I applied on the internet for a 2 year fixed rate bond. I sent off all the relevant info to a Freepost address on 2nd January and now on 13th January I've been told that the closing date was 5th Jan and my application did not arrive until the 6th. How very convenient for the Cheshire and by which time, of course, interest rates had been reduced. I've already received back all the identity documents that you need to send so why has it taken so long to email me and why did it take so long for the application to reach them in the first place. How can you control delivery dates for Freepost envelopes ? Any others with similar experiences ?
