Chessington World Of Adventure Theme Park, Surrey

I must confess that I was very lucky to receive cheap tickets to this theme park courtesy of the charity Action for Children, as I have a son with Autism. The charity provided tickets for our entire family for £20, which was excellent value. The gate prices are as follows for 2012: Adult: £39.60 Child: £28.80 Family of 4 : £120 Senior: £25.20 The prices seem a little more expensive than most of the big theme parks, but this may be due to the fact that this attraction is London-based, whereas we tend to visit the theme parks near where we live in the Midlands. My boyfriend and I recently visited Chessington World of Adventures in Surrey. Location Chessington World of Adventure's is located just off junction 9 on the M25 and is very well signposted so finding this attraction isn't an issue at all. We visit Chessington several times a year because we have merlin annual passes and it is the closest theme park to where we live. *Where is it?* Chessington is located 12 miles outside of London on the A243. It is easy to get to from the M25 and is well signposted. Last weekend my boyfriend and I took the day off work and went to Chessington World of Adventures. Chessington World of adventures is two days out for the price of one combining a theme park with rides and attractions along side a zoo with lots of animals. My Day! Travel: We got the train to Clapham Junction where we changed trains and jumped on one to Chessington South. I was amazed at how quickly we arrived it only took 20mins, from the station Chessington is only a 10 minute walk away and is clearly sign posted. ------------------ The Attraction ------------------ Chessington World of Adventures is a family theme park, it has rides and a zoo. It is advertised as a family fun day out. It is just that, aimed at families and designed for families and younger children. I could not imagine my friends and I looking for a day out and choosing Chessington.
