I currently own a 53 plate Silver Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 SXi, im going to try provide a short and sweet review on the car for any potential buyers.
Engine and Performance:
Whilst a 1.2 engine may put potential buyers off due to a lack of power, it should be noted that this potential 16v engine is one of the best in its class, boasting one of the best 0-60mph times of 11.6 seconds. The engine is superb through the gears, although it is revved a little hard at motorway speeds but not enough to be a problem.
9\10 - Excellent pokey engine for the size.
Equipment:
The SXI comes standard with a CD player with steering wheel controls, electric windows and mirrors, 15" alloy wheels and sports seats. It also has little touches like being lowered with white dials inside and a general more aggressive, sporty look to the car. The CD player ...

. After about 6 months and 1200 miles the engine developed a severe noise and several visits to the dealer has still not sorted it. They told me first that the oil level was incorect, yeh as if i am not going to check all that before taking it to the garage, the quality of the maintainence staff at Reg Vardy on Hunslet Road in Leeds is a joke. Since this visit the rear wash pipe has come disconected so the water has stained the roof lining and soaked every thing in the boot quality, i dont think so. The fault still persists on the engine and the fuel econemy has gone to pot, i am statred to wish it would get stolen or written off. The car has gone to CD Bramall in Wakefield and they have told me that they is something amiss in the engine! oh well done i knew that all ready thats why i brought you the car!

My girlfriend and I bought a New mark two Corsa Club 2001 model in October 2000.We had been waiting for the new car to be launched since we saw photographs of the new model in Autoexpress magazine in April.
We had a old shape 5 door 1500 diesel corsa ,in a nice metallic blue colour to put in part exchange.It only had 80000 miles on it and still had a long tax and test so we where shocked to find the first dealer only offer us £1100 after speaking to the manager to get us a good deal.I maybe daft , but when I know that you do not get change for one under £2000 even at the auctions unless it mega mileage or a cop car, I wasnot going to take that.This garage was Bristol street motors in city centre Newcastle.
We then tried Vauxhall Priory on the Felling Bypass in Gateshead and was kindly met by Alistair Beattie a sales ...
