Massive but reliable
Advantages Reliable
Disadvantages ITs Huge, and greedy for Gas
There’s nothing small with this Truck. The Chevy Astor is a 4.7L vortec engine with 190hp and tons of torque. Astor’s been around for a while now ever since the 1990s. Now GM has decided to stop making them as of 2005 I don't know why, but they just are. I’ve own one since 1996 and no major problems happened as of yet. Its one reliable truck, just did oil changes and other basic repairs.
Astor’s are good if you have a big family. 7-8 passenger and lots of room. It’s safe and fun to drive. The LT version comes with leather seating (option) and DVD/TV. All these options give the passengers a relaxing and enjoyable drive, especially in long road trips Astor would be a good truck to take or rent. The Astor also enables you to carry a boat or trailer in the back.
Astor is also good for moving purposes. If you have to move from one house to another Astor’s do the job. It’s like a cube truck, just remove the two row seats and there you have it, tons of rooms for cargo.
Overall the Chevy Astor is an excellent family truck. It pretty much meets all the family needs. It’s Luxurious, roomy and comfortable. The only problem I guess you might hate about the truck is it’s huge and it’s greedy for gas. Some people like big vehicles but its just one difficult Truck to drive. ---- One last thought, if are going to buy an Astor just remember to get an AWD version, trust me it really helps during the winter, you’ll need it.
