Advantages: consistent engine performance, comfortable to ride, classy looks Disadvantages: wide turning circle, lacks a bit in safety, weight towing limit of 2,041kg
The Chevrolet Blazer is one of the most popular and powerful SUVs from five consecutive decades, The 4.3 litre petrol produces 193bhp and 250 lb ft of torque and all this is directed through four-speed automatic gearbox, however a five-speed manual was available in entry-level LS model which is a two door model. Its Autotrac system automatically engages four-wheel drive when you need it. The Blazer can hit 0 to 60mph in about 10sec only and all this ... ...model upgraded with leather upholstery, power driver seat and overhead console but inside environment doesn't feel especially American. The lack of centre three-point safety belt on the rear seat is an inconvenience, but at least all used Blazers are equipped with air-conditioning, cruise control and alloys on both LS and LT models. The Blazer's handling seems sloppy and its turning circle wide. Faults include spotty build quality and low-grade interior ...

...is overall the cost of chevrolet parts is relative to owning a Range Rover.
if your willing to wait parts are easily obtained from the USA at reasonable costs (just watch for the shipping fees)
The comfort offered by the Chevrolet is amazing, you can spend a whole day behind the wheel and still get out feeling fresh, the drive is amazingly easy for such a big vehicle. Parking in town can be tricky sometimes as it does suffer LARGE blindspots on ... ...not a fan of those Chevrolet wheels, then contry to popular belief BMW wheels DO NOT FIT chevrolet wheels are 120.6pcd 5 stud which is Jaguar XJS or Aston Martin... Its load and towing capacity is amazing i use it to tow a car trailer arround and often i find myself forgetting that the trailer is on the back. Bossal manufacture an E approved towbar kit for a reasonable price

My Blazer
Advantages: Big, different, capable and excellent build quality Disadvantages: Horrendous fuel economy, dealers
Of all the car's and 4x4's I've owned (over 35!!) this is one of my favourites. Its different and well put together.
Engine/Performance: Very powerful. No matter what you put in the Blazer it just keeps pulling. I have mine converted to LPG, which made it a very affordable car. Lots of performance, enough to embrace the odd boy racer.
Comfort/Drive: Excellent quality leather. Loads of extras, electric everything. Put together to last. If you intend ... ...rubber. I had performance directional tyres which on the road are fantastic, off road a liability.
Problems I had: Dealer (in Milton Keynes) totally incompetent when it came to services and rectifying the problems they created. (a long, long story), Black shows up the stone chips more than other colours I've seen.
Economy : If you buy the hulking 4x4 because its cheap be prepared for a shock. Its cheap for a reason..... 16 miles to the gallon. ...

If you are looking for an SUV check this one out
Advantages: Comfortable, good engine, good gas mileage for an SUV Disadvantages: Haven't found any yet
I bought a 2000 Chevy Blazer and it has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. The first thing that impressed me was the size. It is about the same length as a standard car but when you get inside you have lots of room. If you go on road trips, you have plenty of room in the back seat for the kids to sleep and still enough space in the tail for a family of 4's luggage without blocking your view through the back window. The seats are comfortable, ...

Not recommended.
Advantages: lots of room, split bench seat in front Disadvantages: uses lots of gas, maintenance bills are high
I own a 1998 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer. I have brought it in to the dealer for numerous repairs. The transmission has gone out twice. My two bosses both owned blazers and the transmissions went out in their blazers, also. The front differential has broke, the rear defrost has come unwelded twice, the rear wiper stopped working, the fuel pump broke, the locks shorted out. I have spent as much on repairs as I paid for the car. The dealership wanted $120 ... ...platinum and cost $36, and they were going to charge me $84 labor. The rain pours in, when you have the windows cracked. The lock on the hatch rusted and does not work anymore. I would not recommend a Chevy Blazer to anyone. In fact, I would wait and see what the opinions on the new Trailblazers are, before buying one. ...
