The 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier is very easy to handle. Around corners you have nice control. The thing I found is when you have to abruptly turn the wheel, it doesn't feel like you are going to lose control of the car. Although it is not recommended, sudden stops are also a breeze. This was the greatest investment I have ever made. The 2004 model Chevrolet Cavalier is a great family car. Before the purchase of the four door sedan, we had a ninety eight model Cavalier. However it was a two door car, and with three kids that was a little cramped.
Not only is this a great family car, it is also a good ride for the kids. We don't have to listen to the kids in the backseat screaming " I don't have enough room " or " Quit kicking the seat " (my husband)! We drove this car to San Antonio, which is about a hundred and fifty miles from here, and only used a little over a quarter of a tank of gas. It gets good in city mileage and even better highway miles (as long as you aren't stuck in traffic on the interstate!).The Cavalier has a new sleek design, and is very pleasing to the eye. It is also a very popular car, there are three brand new ones on our block alone...and get this....all the same color too. There is only one thing that wasn't very appealing to my husband and I....there is no ashtray anywhere in the car. They seem to have replaced the ashtray slots with drink holders. In all there are five, yes I said five places in the car for drinks.

The thing I found is when you have to abruptly turn the wheel, it doesn't feel like you are going to lose control of the car. Although it is not recommended, sudden stops are also a breeze. About a week ago, my husband and I were driving down the road at about twenty mph, and this little bitty Yorkshire Terrier came trottin across the road in front of us. I of course screamed, not wanting to run the cute little puppy over, and my husband slammed on the brakes just in time. The poor dog never looked at us, and I said "Where are his parents" :) I am very thankful that we had a new car with good brakes!!!!
Even though The 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier is only a four cylinder automobile, it has some get up and go. If you need to pass someone, just give it a little gas, and you are off. Kinda makes you feel like you are driving a sports car!!! The trunk on this vehicle is fairly large, and it has an emergency escape button( I can't figure out if this is for dire needs, or for fools!!!) It also gives you the ability to fold the back seats down for more space.
Advantages: Power and great on fuel Disadvantages: re-sale value
The best little car I have ever owned also one of the 10 most popular cars sold in the United States. My very first brand new Chevy Cavalier I purchased in 1997. It was a 2-door coupe. I was looking for a car that had enough power that also was a fuel saver. I was so happy with this one I went out and bought another one 3 years later. My second one was an automatic, 2-door coupe, air conditioning, power steering, anti-lock brakes, and a theft-deterrent ... ...to appreciate value like that. It had a 2.4-liter twin-cam engine that provides 150 horsepower and 155 pounds-feet of torque. Because the car weighs less than 2700 pounds, it boasts a favorable horsepower-to-weight ratio and, more importantly, torque-to-weight ratio, for scooting away from intersections. With the 2.2-liter, overhead-valve four-cylinder engine, the Cavalier is surprisingly quick. The best value for money that I have found and when ...

...ever made is my little Chevrolet Cavalier Convertible. I had to buy it used 3 years ago because they stopped making the convertible model in 1998.
Besides the obvious advantages of owning a convertible, the car itself is a dream to drive, turns on a dime, and accelerates fast enough to get out of the way of the big trucks. I have taken it on several road trips, and find it as comfortable to drive as it is cute.
Both front seats fold back for napping, ... ...to reveal the trunk area and provide a wider, flat space for transporting long items. I just moved mom's treadmill, and it fit with room to spare from trunk to back of front seat.
Even now, when it is 6+ years old I get 27mpg highway and city driving combined. Everything still works! It is really a well built car.
I paid ( or am paying still) just under $9000.
Did I happen to mention that I love my Cavalier? ...

Advantages: Very affordable and reliable Disadvantages: Not very roomy inside
The Chevrolet Cavalier is an excellent car. Not only is it very afffordable, but is also extremely reliable. I have owned a Cavalier Z24 for nearly a year now, and it is by far the most reliable car i have ever owned, and I have driven many different cars. I have not had a single engine or electrical problem from this car, and I really drive my car alot more than I should (around 30k or 40k miles a year). If you are looking for a reliable car that ... ...that I have found so far, is that if you are raising a family, you need to purchase the 4-door model, because the 2-door model has a slightly cramped interior. Other than that one minor detail, I personally rate the Chevrolet Cavalier as my favorite Car on the road. ...
