Advantages: 505 hp, immense brakes and great handling qualities Disadvantages: gives you awestruckness !
The 2007 ChevroletCorvette ZO6..is a passionate piece of American Engineering. In fact as I drive past, everybody in the street has got to look at it. Its not so passionate as it is technologically advanced. This vehicle has an Aluminium frame. The roof is made of magnesium. It has a great power to weight ratio. The ChevroletCorvette is an icon. In 1953 when the car was introduced only 300 were made and even given to people like John Wayne to look good to drive around in. 1954 came and the car had hard sales..it almost died. Its amazing that this car has made it through 6 incarnations to become the ZO6 in the 2007 model year. To me this car is the epitome everything Chevrolet can take and form into a performance car. It has 505hp, incredible brakes, incredible suspension and on top of all that..it has a head-up display, great leather ...

The Chevrolet Convertible, is a pure American emotional drive. If there is one car in the world that is absolutely 100% Americana...I believe its the ChevroletCorvette. I can see it has the LS2 engine, and you better believe it, its a big piece of American iron. Call it 6 litres if you want. I'm going to call it 364 cubic inches, I don't know when and where exactly the litres came in, long ago it was all about cubic inches. This motor has 400 hp and 400 lbs-ft (542 Nm) of torque...which in my ...

to keep costs down. The Corvette would have been produced with a conventional steel body, but for the fact that the tooling required to press the body panels would have been too expensive so Earl and his team turned to the (then) relatively new process of moulding the panels from glass fibre. As a result, every Corvette ever produced has had a plastic body shell and this is one of the reasons why so many have survived. Glass fibre doesn?t rust.
Earl wanted a V8 motor for his new baby but only Cadillac, Buick and Oldsmobile produced them at the time and since the new car would appear under the Chevrolet soubriquet he had to make do with the ageing ?Blue Flame? in-line six cylinder Chevy unit. It had originally been designed in 1941 as a truck engine and quite frankly, it was a shit motor. In standard trim the 235 cubic inch unit (about ...
