Advantages: good looks, value for money, space. Disadvantages: could have better radio/CD
I recently bought the Lacetti Sx StationWagon. Conclusions? Excellent value for money with the right deal, drives well, good riding position, comfortable. The fully adjustable steering wheel, with both up/down and reach adjustment made finding a good driving position easy. The passenger compartment is fairly well insulated too from noise. Not had it to long to comment on Petrol Consumption, but from use so far, seems about the same as the Picasso I had before, or slightly better.The StationWagon has plenty of load area in the back, in fact larger in floor area than the Citreon Picasso I had before. It comes with both a cargo net and a load guard that extends up to the roof if needed. Would I recommend it or buy another one. Yes, definitely, my only complaint is that the supplied Blaupunkt CD/Radio doesn't play MP3's without getting ...

The first thing I saw when I typed in Lacetti was 'Do you own this car?'
The answer would be, that I had the very bad misfortune of owning one for a very short time and I will never be owning one again - nor will any family or friends if I've got anything to do with.
So where do I start?
At the beginning I think..... It was last October and I was due to have our first child in January. I had a Peuguot 106 3 door and figured it would be too small and awkward to get a baby, car seat, pushchair and occasionally, passengers in. So off we went to a 'national dealer' to look at 5 door, more family orientated cars. We had a budget in mind of around £5k. The real downside with this car is the C)2 rating which means road tax is £210 per year . the plastic centre storage bin has had a broken lid twice and the radio CD is rubbish.
I average 40 mpg although around town this can drop to 28 mpg. It is a sensible buy, as long as you do not buy new (huge depreciation), unless the deal is fantastic, but not an exciting one. ...
