Advantages: Great Sun protection,inexpensive Disadvantages: sometimes finding it..
Well folks..its that time of year again. The barbeques are being fired up, the hose pipes are being banned in their thousands and very puny men feel it necessary to take off their shirts. Unless you are very lucky and have gorgeous dark skin.Then you wont be worrying about baring your oh so pasty limbs and then smelling like a braised chop after ten minutes in the Sun.
Well I am one of those braised chop folk! My skin is so pale that if you looked quickly you'd think you'd have seen a spectre of some sort. So as the temperature soars to around 20c, well struggles, I find myself wanting to bare my beautiful Winter coloured flesh. As I am going abroad in The Summer I chose to buy a job lot of Sun Cream in January. Well Im a tight wad, and its cheaper to buy in the Winter.

Advantages: Can be used for the scalp, waterproof Disadvantages: I'm finding it hard to get hold of!
Well with the summer months coming up this is one thing I know I shall definitely be needing. Despite all the warnings this is one fact I've learnt the hard, sore, painful way. But it's taken me a while to learn - I've been burnt badly several times before I finally realised that I NEED to put sun cream on.
But that's not what prompted me to buy this sun cream. Ordinarily I probably wouldn't have looked twice at this on the shelf, I'd have just stuck to the brands that I normally use. However, after burning my scalp - which believe me is extremely painful - I decided that I needed to start looking further afield for my sun protection. And that's when I came across Malibu Dry Oil Spray. Now I don't like the thought of putting anything called 'dry oil' onto my skin, especially to protect myself against sun burn. Advantages: Refreshing in hot weather, tasty and very drinkable! Disadvantages: Hangovers....The price
I discovered Malibu only a couple of years ago and it has since been my almost sole choice of drink! It has refreshing and original flavour that is very different to that of other alcoholic drinks. Whilst drinking a vodka and coke in a pub at lunchtime (or even better on a hot sunny beach in the Carribean) would give me a slightly sicky headachey feeling, Malibu never, ever does this to me, at least not until the next morning.
I'm sure nearly all of us can remember at least one of the Malibu adverts "imagine if us Carribeans took life as seriously as the rest of the world", and then follows a hilarious scenario with Carribeans arguing about one thing or another, for example a bus being late, or trying to pay with a melon by credit card. Malibu is described by these adverts as seriously easy going, what a perfect description ...
