My daughter June purchased this highchair from mothercare during a sale for feeding her first child jordan in. She was very lucky to have a sale on reducing the price to just under £100.
The solid framed highchair is quite heavy and her partner was a little puffed out having to carry it all the way from the local branch to our house ( they are all living with us at present, awaiting a place on own)
Anyway on arriving home with a very heavy and large box thee opened it to see how it looked and worked.
The highchair consisted of:-
yellow stable feet Blue seat and rod supports yellow tray Aqua blue padded cushion spotted with "yellow dots and orange and yellow Turtles" red buttons at side and tray section
Jordan loves his highchair and seems very comfortable with its 3 different positions and 5 point safety straps. He has just started on finger foods, so the slip on yellow tray has been attatched now. This glides on easy using the release button that is underneath the tray.
The whole of the unit is washable and very easy to remove the cushion or wipe the whole of it down.Due to its overall structure it is very, very hard for it to be knocked over without alot of force, so you have the knowledge of your baby being safe, and secure whilst feeding takes place.
The height adjuster is on the poles and easy again to use by pushing the red buttons either side where the yellow piece is attached to the pole and seat. This enables you to place the seat the height you want it say low for you feeding say sitting in an armchair to later sitting at a main table.
To set up the chair put your foot on the back of the yellow feet support and push both sides on the red buttons and pull the leg pieces out and it will click into place. This is a very simple operation except when you have the child in your arms screaming for its meal and are trying to press both buttons with one hand (anyone learnt to do the splits with your fingers yet?)It is not easy to move it far to see to the other side as it is a bit bulky.Bulky but folds neatly away to reasonable size
Overall I do like this chair and can see it lasting very well for a few more years yet.Indeed for the next grand child. It suits an age range of approxiametly 5months to 36 months.

yeah i agree about babies been expensive, my mum bought her grand daughter a high chair for christmas and now she climbs out of it and goes walkies when shes suposed to be eating.... I would say that a better design is needed to keep adventurous babies where thier suposed to be.

"just under £100"!!!! Wow, thats expensive, ours isn't very flashy looking, but cost us just £20 and converts to a toddler/young persons seat for when our son's outgrown the 'highchair'. Good op though. Gwen
