I walked into Mothercare to buy a highchair for my 6 month old and couldn't believe how many there were to choose from! An assistant recommended the Chicco Polly High Chair to me and gave me a demonstration. They retail for about £100 but at the time of purchase they were on offer for £85 which I do think is a little expensive but with all the features it has I felt I was getting a bargain.
What I like about it: The chair is not on wheels so my baby cannot push herself away from the table and across the laminate flooring! The seat has 3 different positions so good if your baby can't yet sit up on their own, you can just tilt the seat back slightly, also good if they fall asleep in it you don't have to move them, just tilt right back. The chair is easy to adjust, everywhere you see an orange button is a feature i.e. to fold the chair, to adjust the height, to bring up the armrests and adjust the footrest , and take the tray on off, all very simple to do. You can have the chair at different heights depending on where you use it. The chair is freestanding when folded, you don't need to lean it against the wall. You get a tray for hot drinks which fits onto the back leg, this keeps danger out of reach and reduces the risk of your child grabbing at you cup. The tray is in too parts, you can lift off the top layer for easy cleaning. It also fits onto the back of the chair when not in use. There is a net at the back of the chair to store toys but I don't like her to play with toys at mealtimes so it comes in handy to store bibs. I always know where they are now and everything is within reach.
The only thing I would say against the chair is that it is pretty heavy. When i bought it the shop assistant told me it would fold up at the lowest height to fit easily in the boot of the car but, as I only have a small car it actually doesn't fit!
All in all I would definately recommend it to anyone.

Ive got this high chair too but unfortunately I never get to use it for a place for my daughter to sleep as she never does that even at the age of two. But good review katie x
