The pushchair itself is suitable from 6 months of age and features the usual 5 point safety harness. It comes complete with sun canopy, rain cover, carrying handle and basket. It has all round suspension with front swivel wheels which can be locked by the push of a plastic button. There is also a break on the ... ...on each wheel and to unlock you flick the bar up. The wheels are plastic.
It has an umbrella folding mechanism and when folded flat the dimensions are 111 x 27 x 22cm, nice and small, would fit into the back of most familly cars. I'd measure up your boot though first before buying just in case!!
The weight on this splendid item is just 6kg and it has a handy carrying strap, so you could always throw it over your shoulder if it isnt in use.

I saw this advertised in the Argos catalogue for £39.99 and thought it fitted the bill perfectly.
It is a lightweight aluminium 4 wheeled stroller, which is suitable for babies from 6 months to approx 3 years. It will caryy The one we got was red, and I think that is the only colour available.
It comes supplied with
- reclineable seat
- lockable swivel wheels
- a harness,
- a sun canopy, -a rain ... ...MY OPINION
The chicco xplorer fills all of my requirements, it is compact, lightweight has all of the necessary accessories, it is easy to steer and Caitlin is comfortable in it. The seat fabric is not removable, but wipes down easily with a damp cloth. My one main reservation is about the handle height, the handles are non adjustable, and seem quite low. They suit me perfectly, but at 5'3" i'm not tall. Anyone who is tall might find it uncomfortable ...

It's very lightweight and simple to put up and take down. It doesn't ride heavy. My son is almost three and it isn't hard to push. Advantages: Compact, Lightweight, Deep Tread wheels, Suspension Disadvantages: Handles are uncomfortable, Small Basket, Doesn't recline by much.
My main pushchair is the Bugaboo Frog and I have been in love with this system for a long time. Now my daughter is walking and VERY independant I wanted a compact buggy to take with us on walks. What I love about the Xplorer is the carry strap, it really does just sling over your shoulder, it's so lightweight you'd hardly know it was there, also with my daughter strapped in I can pick it up and carry it up the flight of 10 steps to my house with ... ...back.
I live up a very steep cobbled hill which many Pushchairs can not navigate. I have to say that between the £500+ Bugaboo and the £35.00 Xplorer there is not much difference in the ease of which it takes to get up my nightmare hill!
I have to say though that the handles are a bit hard on the hands and I wish they could be the foam covered type, also the handle height is a bit low. The shopping basket is also a bit small, but I personally will ...

Advantages: easy folding, fit easily in the car, comfortable Disadvantages: just have two seat positions
...are still £25 but this chicco stroller come complete with raincover which goes all over it and the hood which keeps the sun away from my little one.
Leave room for shopping at the back of the car.
It red color so its OK if you clean once a while as light blue buggies always look dusty and you have to clean very hard.
Best thing is the size when folded.
