If you want a great story or set of stories to read, to children 6 and above, then I can highly recommend these books. fabulously written by Laurence Anholt, these stories take well known and loved fairy tales, and twist them on their head, giving a great contemporary twist. and they are great value for money - very affordable with pocket money. for example...in Little Red Riding Wolf, the villan of the story is NOT the wolf, but its the big bad ...

Poppy Cat’s Dream is the sort of book that makes you wish you were three years old again. Then again, it could be that I just haven’t grown up yet! My son received this book as a Christmas present last year and it really has been a favourite of his (and mine) over the past few months. ...book as the first one, Alice in Wonderland, and it's definitely in my Top 10 list of favourite books. From the surreal train journey at the beginning to the whole journey across the chess board, it's brilliantly absurd! Dolphin in the deep by Lucy Daniels is number 31 in the Animal Ark series. Animal-lover Mandy Hope is very happy when she goes on holiday to Florida because she can't wait to meet the animals that live there.
