Amelia Jayne series Advantages: a great read for young girls Disadvantages: none ...old fashioned. We saw the Amelia Jayne books and bought her one I didn't think she would actually finish it, she did over a weekend. She has since read a second one and is on to her third. The books are about a naughty doll who plays tricks on the other toys and they get their own back. To a young child these books are very interesting and make great conversation if you like to chat about what they have read. I have never been so embarrased Advantages: Relates to teenagers Disadvantages: you have to spend money buying the others. Angus, thongs and full frontal snogging made my tube journey the most embarrasing that I've ever had! All about 13 going on 21 years old Georgia Nicholson's fab life... not. The day to day accounts of her life are like a rollercoaster. She reports to us about her scottish wildcat Angus, Her crazy little sister Libby, her love sick parents and last but never least on Her and Mabs, Jools, Rosie, Ellen and Jas's life in The Ace Gang at her terrible ... ...everything goes haywire.... ANGUS, THONGS AND FULL FRONTAL SNOGGING is funny enough to make the most pokerfaced person laugh out loud. Georgia is every teenage girl taken to the extreme, the crazy stunts will make anything you've ever done when looking for that special guy seem reasonable and completely normal. ALICE IN WONDERLAND Advantages: Mad and Amusing Disadvantages: None OPINION This is a very funny little book, a childrens book but everybody will enjoy it as I did. Its a very simple book to read but the way that Carroll explores logic through the book is both amusing and interesting. The book has been written by the "Mad Hatter" himself, wacky nonsense that will entertain any man, woman or child. AUTHOR Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832-1898) better known by his pen name Lewis Carroll was an English author, mathematician, ... ..."Alices Adventures in Wonderland" and its sequel "Through the Looking-glass" as well as his poems "The Hunting of the Shark" and "Jabberwocky". BOOK INFORMATION The story is basically about Alices journey down into a rabbit hole after following a white rabbit that she heard talking to itself. She faces many difficulties at the start adjusting to this underground society, and offends a good few characters (very amusing).
