Albie and the Space Rocket is a book which my boys love to read. THE STORY The story begins with Albie being tucked up in bed and sleeping when something suddenly takes his bed away from him. He goes downstairs to investigate. In the downstairs toilet he finds two moose dancing the tango but no toilet. Albie then goes into the kitchen where he finds a zebra who has a cupboard full of his zebra friends. Albie continues to search for his missing ...
...toilet! The elephants tell Albie that he cant have the things back as the rocket is almost ready for blast off to the planet Jupiter. Albie asks if he can have his bed back and the elephants tell him to ask the colony of penguins who are standing behind him. Will Albie get his bed back or will the space rocket get to Jupiter? Eldest opens with Eragon looking upon the battlefield of Tronjheim. It has been three days since the battle has been won, three days since Eragon killed the Shade Durza. ...While Eragon was essentially simplistic, Eldest is layered with other themes and multiple narratives. The writer also shows his skill in holding all of them together and blending them in the end for the climax. Nasuada, with Eragon's support, takes her father's place leading the Varden. Hello, this is your Penguin speaking is a fun little hard back book which we bought for our eldest son as he likes penguins. The cover of the book is nice and bright and has lots of penguins all doing funny things and the title in white bubble in black writing. The back cover of the book shows a picture of space with penguins in space helmets and aliens and rockets in the sky. Upon opening the book there are lots of small pictures with writing ...
...pictures are objects featured in the story. The story starts with penguin reading his favourite book and wishing that he could fly. He thought that if he could fly he would be able to carry passengers. He says he would call himself Penguin Air Tours and starts running around making a vroom noise.
