A Greedy Goose meets an Angry Rabbit
Advantages: Rhyming, adjectives, animals Disadvantages: Swan doesn't get any chocolate mousse
...macaroni and carrots followed by chocolate mousse, but in the realm of children's books anything is possible. Julia Donaldson has in fact created a wonderful book bursting with rhyme, adjectives and the idea of differing personalities in Chocolate Mousse for Greedy Goose. On each page we meet a different animal, ... ...and five, possibly six, and the Amazon price of £3.49 is excellent value.

Jacqueline Wilson's Cliffhanger
Advantages: Its a good story and easy to read Disadvantages: None
Jacqueline Wilson's Cliffhanger is a great novel. However, this makes for a more confusing read than the normal Jacqueline Wilson stories. Apart from this critisism, All in all the book was a good read, ... ...what was actually going on.
In connection to the main character Tim, my view is that there are fairly enormous gender issues surrounding this little boy with regards as to how his mum and dad parent him. My understanding of this is that although mum is happy initially to have Tim a mummy's boy, and portrays relative conflict with dad in this issue, It becomes apparent throughout the storyline that eventually mum realises the importance of dads role ...
