Another wonderful tale from the excellent author and illustrator, Jane Hissey - this book is all about the arrival of a new character, and friend, for Old Bear and Co - he arrives in a rather large, interesting-looking box and all the toys are intrigued. I actually bought this very cute sounding book for my husband, so that our two daughters could give it to him on Father's Day. Although the sentiment was appreciated I have to confess that this is not really his kind of book, so unsurprisingly it soon became part of my daughters' evergrowing collection! However,they do remember that it is the book they gave Daddy, so it's always nice when Daddy gets to read his special book with them! 'I Love You, ...
...very accessible for young children. I read this to my two daughters and they really enjoy listening, but I am sure that once a child has started to learn to read, they would love curling up somewhere with this book and reading it for themselves! So overall this is a very warm cosy book which can't help but leave you with a glow after you have read it.
