Advantages: Great read for all. A timeless classic
Disadvantages: none whatsoever

Mr Tickle is the first and original Mr Men, which appeared in 1971. He was to be the first in a long line of short stories produced by Roger Hargreaves and later, on his son Adam. His appeal has not faded throughout the years and he is still a favourite. My son was drawn to this book and it started the Mr Men and Little Miss frenzy now happening in our house. Advantages: Great fun story from the Mr Men collection
Disadvantages: Small writing

Mr Tickle and the Dragon is a new range of Mr Men and Little Miss books which have 'added sparkle' Mr Tickle is a circle shape with very long skinny arms and he is orange in colour and wears a small blue hat. THE STORY The story begins with Mr Tickle returning to his home after a good day of tickling people to find that his house has been burnt down. He finds out that Mr Funny's car house and also Mr Clever's house has also been burnt down so ...
...bright red glow. Mr Tickle suddenly feels less brave and decides to wait until the morning to go to the cave so he wraps his arms around himself and curls up under a bush to fall to sleep. Mr Tickle is woken by the shaking of the bush and shouts to ask who is there. Who is it that has woken Mr Tickle and who was it that burnt down the houses? Advantages: Fun short story
Disadvantages: small writing

Mr Rude is number 45 in the Mr Men collection. He is a round shaped character and wears a black top hat. The cover of the book is white and has a picture of Mr Rude and the title in black letters above. The back cover of the book has smaller pictures of the other characters in the collection. THE STORY The book starts by telling us about Mr Rude, he is a very very rude man. He is so rude that if he met someone with a big nose he would tell them ...
...met someone who was overweight he shouted fatty to them and told her that she was not supposed to eat the food and the fridge as well. When he is out in his car he shouts rude things to people out of his window. Nobody liked Mr Rude. On day Mr Rude was out when he met Little Miss Tiny as he nearly trod on her. Mr Nosey is number 4 in the Mr Men collection, he is a semi circle shape with a very large nose and is green in colour. The cover of the book is white with a picture of Mr Nosey and the title above in black lettering. The back cover of the book is also white and has small pictures showing the other characters available in the collection. THE STORY The book begins by telling us about Mr Nosey, he liked to know everything that was going on. Mr Nosey ...
...he is the sort of person who if he stumbles upon a locked door he has to look through the keyhole to see why it has been locked. He was also so nosey that if he found an unopened letter addressed to someone else he would have to open it and read it. Mr Nosey is not a very popular person as nobody likes the way he is always peeking and prying.
