its a really fun book to read when its raining outside and your tucked in your warm bed and you want something fun to do... its a really fun story of how a girl cannot get her best freind out of her mind when she dies...her ghost comes back to her and only she can see it... I think all Jacqueline Wilson books are great! None of her books will disappoint you. The cover may look a bit boring but hey all good books have boring covers. When you see a ...

under pressure
Advantages: discusses a difficult topic in a way that isn't too heavy Disadvantages: there aren't any
this is one of jacqueline wilson's best books (and i should know as i've read most of them!)
the main issue it deals with is her main character (ellie)'s eating disorder (anorexia, with occasional binge/purge habits). although this is often a very difficult subject, it is dealt with in a humourous, warm manner.
wilson accurately describes the effects an eating disorder can have both on the sufferer and on their family and friends. i first read ... ...on this subject, i didn't find it "triggering" (i.e. it didn't cause a relapse).
although the main topic in this book is ellie's illness, it also describes the struggles of her two friends, magda and nadine. this not only adds variety to the plot, but also tackles other problems common to teenage girls, such as appearance and relationships.
i would *highly* recommend this book to anyone over the age of about 11, especially if they are coping with ...

Girls In Love - Jaqueline Wilson
Advantages: It has a really nice story about friendship Disadvantages: It's only siotable for girls
Girls In Love is the first in the series of four books by Jacqueline Wilson, it is followed by Girls out Late, Girls under Pressure & Girls in Tears.
It's all about three girls, the main character, Ellie and her best friends Nadine and Magda. It follows the ups and downs of their lives as teenage girls, with the pressures of boyfriends and Ellie trying to come to terms with the death of her mother and having her new stepmother Anna and half brother ... ...nadine's boyfriend starts causing trouble. this books shows how important friends are and that it's always good to stick close to them. It really does how what life is like for teenage girls very well indeed! Its a brilliant book which I would recommend for 11 to 15 years olds. ...

Sleepovers
Advantages: Funny Disadvantages: Short
Sleepovers is a really good book written by Jacqueline Wilson for young girls from the ages of 9-14. It is about a young girl called Daisy who you can feel involved with, she makes friends through sleepovers and birthday parties. It is a typical group of girls including the bossy, shy, fat and mean one which will make you involved as you understand what it can be like. This makes it really funny and will get you wanting more! I read it when i was ...

Best Friends
Advantages: A very funny book, getting children in hysterics Disadvantages: Nothing to be displayed!
Personally, i love the book Best friends.I always play Gemma and Alice with my best friend and we always have a lovely time, Jacqueline Wilson has definately made sure that readers will enjoy it. It is fairly heartbreaking and did bring tears to my eyes. Gemma really misses Alice when she moves to Scotland, they had been together for a long time and miss each other very much.Alice is very quiet and very calm, the type of girl who would probaly enjoy ... ...on they are best friends forever in their hearts, but make other friends too. Like Alice made friends with a girl who likes to show - off alot called Flora, and Gemma made close friends with Billy McVitie, otherwise known as Biscuits. They surely will have a happy ever after. ...
